EVERY Sunday, our resident Tarotscope reader Kerry King will be revealing what surprises, challenges and excitement awaits you in the week ahead.
Kerry has been practising tarot readings for the last 20 years, starting from reading for friends to amassing an international client list.
Using her strong intuition and deep knowledge and understanding of the horoscope, she is able to provide accurate and encouraging predictions for the coming days.
Here’s her predictions for YOUR star sign…
ARIES (Two of Swords, Ten of Cups, The Fool)
Although you feel conflicted, you are definitely edging towards giving someone a second chance.
The Two of Swords shows there are pros and cons here, and you know nothing is guaranteed.
On the one hand, life is short and maybe too short to hold grudges, but on the other hand, well, life is short and maybe too short to entertain people who don’t lift or help you.
Which is it to be? The Ten of Cups hints there was once great love and affection here, this could even (shock, horror) be an ex lover.
Maybe things have changed and you think there’s a better chance you could make something work now.
The Fool hints you’re going to go for this, and why not.
You know what the “red flags” are, you know the warning signs, you are once bitten and twice shy.
But life IS short, too short to hold grudges, so get in touch and see what unfolds.
TAURUS (Death, King of Swords, Ace of Cups)
A very unexpected and surprising admirer reveals themselves to you this week, and you’re not sure how to feel about it!
The Ace of Cups hints this could be the beginning of something loving, lasting and loyal, renewing your appreciation for life itself.
You are ruled by Venus, and your love life is important to you.
If things aren’t right there, then they’re just not right full stop.
Death shows, too, that this revelation will change everything.
Maybe it’s someone who could change your life, maybe the circumstances they, or you, are in will have a big impact if you act on this.
I kind of think it’s going to prove irresistible. When the shock has worn off, you will start to see why this could work, and the attraction will prove to be there.
Maybe it was there all along, just underlying.
The King of Swords hints this person might be an Air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), maybe a bit older, and they are sharp, shrewd, analytical and interesting.
Great company. A great prospect. Taurus, what are you waiting for? Say yes!
GEMINI (Page of Swords, Three of Cups, Seven of Coins)
You sometimes wonder whether people really do like you, or what they say about you behind your back. Frankly, Gemini, it’s none of your business!
We are ALL talked about, and much of it is not fit for our ears!
The Page of Swords sees you digging away, wanting to find out what they’re saying.
The Seven of Coins shows this is an old bad habit of yours. Investigating cases which are best left “cold”. Let those sleeping dogs lie.
Don’t deny you say awful things about people too sometimes, even people you truly like!
Stop this badgering, catch yourself asking leading questions or eavesdropping… and put a halt to it.
Nothing good will come of it, I promise you.
Instead, make this a week focused on renewing and rebuilding your friendships.
As lockdown eases, you can see more people and do more things.
Make the most of this. Visit others. Call them up. Arrange something.
Take a treat along. Do kind things for as many people as you can, and feel yourself blossom with positive energy and vibes.
You “feed” off others socially, in a good way. Go get a boost.
CANCER (Eight of Cups, Three of Swords, Queen of Swords)
It’s often better to be alone than lonely in a relationship, and you are coming to appreciate the truth of that.
The Three of Swords shows that someone, a friend or love, has hurt you.
The wound runs deeply, and you’re not sure you can trust them anymore.
The Eight of Cups acknowledges this means your hopes for this relationship aren’t going to pan out in the near future.
You need, at the very least, a break from their presence- maybe a permanent one.
This dynamic is unequal. You put so much more into this than them.
You invest heavily to support this bond, whilst they “coast”. It’s uneven and unhealthy.
And you must step back. The Queen of Swords shows that you will end this, at least temporarily.
And you will feel 100% better for doing so.
You don’t realise how toxic this has become for you, and it’s only when you’re free of their burdens and opinions that you’ll notice how much you’ve been twisting out of shape to suit them.
Enough of their needs and demands. You do you.
LEO (The Hanged Man, The Moon, Ace of Swords)
There’s something you need to know, and you don’t know it yet, so don’t make any big moves right now.
Wait. Dig. Research. The Moon is a card of mystery and illusion, and hints at secrets and untold truths around you.
Important stuff. The Ace of Swords is the tarot’s truth card, so this information WILL be forthcoming this week, and you shouldn’t do anything sudden or drastic until you’ve found it.
The likelihood is that it will change your plans.
The Hanged Man shows this relates to a limbo type situation you’ve been in.
You hate limbo. It sucks.
And you’re keen to make some moves and get through it, but please do your research first because to do so without this information would only set you off in the wrong direction.
Whatever has stagnated, stalled, or felt “on hold” recently, this is the area in question.
Ask people for their opinion, read up on it, do some detective work… let your instincts guide you.
Who’s not being straight? Who knows more than they’re saying?
What questions will unlock this? Be persistent. This work is worth it.
VIRGO (Knight of Coins, The Tower, Ace of Coins)
You don’t like surprises, nope. Recently,
The Tower shows that something did arise out of the blue and rocked your world.
This kind of crisis is stressful and, now that the immediate issue has passed, you’re reviewing what measures you might put in place to stop something similar happening again.
The Ace and Knight of Coins shows this is related to your work, home or money- your material world, basically.
You are keen to initiate a new plan of action or strategy, which could “future-proof” this area, so that you don’t need to worry about it.
Putting a “safety net” up, be it financial or practical in nature, will let you off the hook for whittling and chastising yourself.
You are so hard on yourself sometimes, Virgo, and this can create a need to control life in a way that just isn’t possible.
Sift through your thoughts and fears here.
Which of them can be practically addressed, and which sound like more like your “inner judge” scare-mongering you?
It’s healthy to react in a positive way to things which shock or upset us.
To find pragmatic solutions to avoiding more of the same.
Do what you can, and then move on, and stop worrying about this.
Take steps, and then exit the “spiral” of thinking about it.
LIBRA (Seven of Cups, The Star, Seven of Swords)
You are blessed with both analytical and creative powers, your brain is a super-charged machine for dreaming up innovative AND useful schemes and ideas.
This week, your imagination is firing on all cylinders, so keep a notebook handy and jot down all of your thoughts.
They are valuable. The Seven of Cups and The Star combine to reveal these thoughts are out-the-box and related to your future pathway.
You’re having new visions about what you want to become, and do, in life.
You’re seeing new ways of developing. You are projecting an alternative vision of your future, and considering how realistic it is.
Let me tell you: you CAN manifest these daydreams.
They visit you for a reason: they are the Universe nudging you closer to what you ought to be doing.
The Seven of Swords is a hint to keep this process to yourself.
When we share our ideas too soon, they can get knocked down or diluted by others’ opinions and input.
Nurse these thoughts privately, let them take shape and grow stronger. Pay attention to your daydreams.
They are a glimpse of the future.
SCORPIO (The Empress, Page of Cups, Nine of Cups)
The Empress and Page of Cups reveal this week is all about family time, in a lovely and joyful way.
The Nine of Cups asks you to help make those you love feel good, to do special and memorable things this week, to make exciting plans you can all look forward to in the future.
You are incredibly loyal to, and protective of, your family.
They know they can count on you, you’re one of the “strong ones”.
Bring that power to bear this week, and help them all with whatever they’ve got on their plate.
Support their hopes. Soothe their fears. Surprise them. Treat them. Nurture them.
This isn’t a one-way street either, because the good you do for these people is remembered and valued, and comes back to you in lots of little ways.
Your family truly appreciate you, and need your presence and strength.
Share it freely this week, and feel amazing about your place in this world.
SAGITTARIUS (King of Wands, Four of Cups, Three of Coins)
Your star sign is represented by the bolshy, adventurous and bold King of Wands, so you’re feeling very Sagittarius-y this week (heaven help us all!)
The Four of Cups shows that boredom is getting to you, and you’re tired of the restrictions and routine you’ve had to adapt to recently.
Your energy is bubbling up, and your restlessness is mounting. This is a recipe for trouble!
The Three of Coins urges you to direct this surge of energy into something positive.
Something you do which will impress (rather than terrify or shock) others.
You can move mountains when your powers are properly harnessed, so take a moment right now to imagine something challenging and rewarding you could tackle this week.
Make it exciting. Make it into a “mission”.
And then set about planning what you will do, each day, to make it happen.
Daydream about how others will be envious and admiring of your efforts.
Make this goal something that you WANT to show off about.
Don’t drift along this week and then get caught up in some reckless enterprise; be strategic and use your energy to do something worthwhile.
CAPRICORN (Queen of Coins, Nine of Swords, Five of Cups)
No regrets. That is your mantra this week, as shown by the combination of the anxious Nine of Swords and the grieving Five of Cups.
Plan your week by projecting yourself forwards and imagining what you might regret NOT doing, if you don’t do it now! Back to The Future!
This can be a useful lens to look at our priorities and plans through.
It gets us out of the immediate and urgent concerns which take up so much space in our head, that sometimes we miss big or important opportunities.
Imagine what you’d really mourn not having done, or said, or tried.
Think about things you feel you missed out on, or should have done, before.
Are there any similar scenarios in your life now?
The Queen of Coins shows this is related to your material world: work, money, home, possessions.
And Queens are about leadership, so this is about you doing what’s best, what’s right, what will get you ahead and on top.
Don’t leave things to chance, don’t hesitate, don’t miss out.
Don’t be in that horrible position of looking back and wishing you could do it over again. Think it through now.
AQUARIUS (Ten of Swords, Eight of Wands, Ten of Wands)
The Ten and Eight of Wands combine to show just how busy, stressed, in the midst of everything, and (sometimes) overwhelmed you’ve been recently.
It’s all kicking off. It’s all happening.
Sometimes that feels energising and exciting but sometimes it feels too chaotic and out of control.
There’s no denying that you could do with a little shuffle-round of your workload and commitments, to make some much-needed space.
Get your red pen out this week, Aquarius, and start crossing through some agenda items!
The Ten of Swords is a powerful card about cutting ties, saying no, withdrawing from trouble, leaving crap behind.
What’s on your list this week that makes you feel anxious or angry or sad?
Do you REALLY need to be involved? Are you just doing this out of blind obligation or habit?
Identify things you can lose from your calendar, for good.
PISCES (Nine of Wands, The Sun, The High Priestess)
Just one last obstacle lies between you and smooth seas, plain sailing.
Don’t falter now, Pisces, because you’re so close you can almost touch it!
The Nine of Wands is your cheerleader, urging you to keep going and push on.
The issues are not as difficult or demanding as they have seemed in your imagination.
For once, “real life” will give you a break!
The High Priestess shows that your own insight and intuition are your best guides this week.
You have a psychic sense, and you must trust it more often.
It’s a gift. Don’t ignore those hunches, they are invaluable, and they are helping you to do the right thing, the easiest thing, the best thing.
The Sun shows just what wonderful rewards and satisfaction lie ahead for you, if you press on and push through this obstacle.
Imagine this week as a portal, a doorway to a better and more fulfilling lifestyle.
You’ve just got to walk through it. Have faith and keep going.
