Stormy weather is causing traffic chaos across the region.
Motorists are being warned of poor driving conditions following snowfall in some areas and blustery winds.
There have been reports of sleet and snow in some areas of the High Peak and on the Penninnes, with the A635 in Holmfirth, the A672 in Denshaw and the Woodhead Pass affected.
Speed restrictions have also been introduced on some motorway bridges.
Traffic is being advised to slow down on the M6 Thelwall Viaduct and the matrix sign has been set to 50mph between junction 21, for Manchester Road, and junction 20, for Lymm Interchange.
There are also 50mph speed limits on the M60's Barton Bridge, between junction 10 for the Trafford Centre and junction 11 for Barton, as well as on Rakewood Viaduct on the M62 between junction 22 for Rishworth Moor and junction 21 for Milnrow.
A tweet from North West Motorway Police said: "Bit of a windy wet morning take care on your journeys."
