Broken down lorry on A470
A lorry has broken down on the already busy A470. It has blocked one lane of the northbound carriageway between the Glyntaff and Broadway interchanges. Recovery has been requested and waiting for arrival.
Flood alerts in place after heavy rain
There is one flood warning and 16 flood alerts across the Wales this morning. Natural Resources Wales has place the flood warning on the Lower Dee Valley area.
It comes as Met Office weather warnings are in place for large parts of the country.
Man due in court after alleged serious assault
A man is due in court today charged in connection with the serious assault that left a man critically ill in hospital.
A 26-year-old man has life-threatening injuries after an incident on Commerce Place in Aberaman on Monday evening.
ZipWorld to open new site
Plans for a Zip World site in the south Wales valleys have been approved.
It means that work to build the park on the Rhigos, Rhondda Cynon Taf , is now likely to start in January.
The north Wales tourism giant, which has 11 adventures spread over three Snowdonia sites, has been looking at setting up a site in South Wales for more than three years , but a cash injection from Lloyds moved the plans on.

Accident on the M4
There has been an accident on the M4 in Carmarthenshire. It has happened near the Pont Abraham roundabout and traffic monitors are showing that a car’s wheel has broken off.

It is extremely wet out there this morning but it will be a day of sunny spells and scattered heavy showers. Here is the full forecast for Wales:
A drier day than on Thursday. Sunny spells for many but with scattered showers, locally heavy and thundery, particularly across coastal areas. It will be fairly mild. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Tonight, sharp showers will continue overnight, with the potential for some very heavy downpours for the south during the early hours. Temperatures will dip slightly more than recently in clear spells. Minimum temperature 3 °C.
