A video has shown the dramatic moment a bus and car collided in a crash along a road in Burnley.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the A682 Manchester Road in the town at around 1.30pm yesterday (October 25).
The collision, which is understood to have happened close to Limey Lane, saw a car and bus collide in the dramatic incident.
The video appears to show the bus driving travelling the road when it becomes involved in the crash with the car, a blue Range Rover Sport, which had left the side of the road just moments prior.
Both vehicles were sent in opposite directions due to the impact of the collision.
The bus, a WitchWay by Transdev, was sent plummeting into a brick wall along a grass verge.
The Range Rover was spun around, coming to rest on the opposite grass verge.
The front of the bus appeared to be badly damaged in the incident.
Debris was left scattered across whole carriageway.
The road was left blocked while emergency services attended the scene, resulting in delays in the area.
Traffic between Rawtenstall and Burnley was impacted, resulting in increased journey times for motorists.
Lancashire Police have confirmed that only minor injuries resulted in the collision, with the force unable to provide further details.
Steve Ottley, General Manager of The Burnley Bus Company, who operates the route, said: "Our concern first and foremost was for our driver and the customers on board the bus when the accident happened.
"Thankfully our driver, whilst shaken by the incident, was checked over at hospital and was able to go home to get some rest later in the evening.
"We understand that three customers also had to attend hospital with injuries, but they are also now doing fine.
"We are grateful for the quick attendance of the ambulance service to make sure everyone was safe and received quick treatment, as well as the professionalism of our driver."
