According to a Northfield police press release, at 11:49 am on Saturday, police found Lisa Wade, 39, suicide at her home in Minnesota.
In a press release, "Police have reason to believe that Wade may have been involved in the disappearance of his six-year-old daughter before he died."
Police are currently looking for the missing 6-year-old El Ragin.
The Northfield Police Department encourages anyone who sees El or her mother Lisa in the last two weeks to share information with their department.
The Criminal Arrest Department is supporting this investigation.
