Five overnight closures of the M73 southbound Link Road to M74 northbound at M73 Junction 1 Maryville have been announced

Road users are advised that the M73 southbound Link Road to the M74 northbound at M73 Junction 1 Maryville will be closed overnight for five nights, between 8pm and 6am each night commencing on Monday, October 5.

These closures have been scheduled overnight to minimise disruption to traffic and are required to ensure road user and road worker safety whilst undertaking essential surfacing works. The road will re-open at 6am each morning.

As a result, the following slip road will be closed:

■ M73 southbound off-slip to Daldowie at Junction 1 Maryville

A signed diversion will be in place as follows:

■ M73 southbound Link Road to M74 southbound at M73 Junction 1 Maryville, continue M74 southbound to Junction 5 Raith off-slip, take 6th exit on Raith roundabout to return to M74 northbound at Junction 5 Raith on-slip, continue M74 northbound and follow permanent signage for Glasgow or Daldowie off-slip road.

These works will be carried out by Scottish Road Partnership (SRP) on behalf of Transport Scotland to maintain the integrity and safety of these routes.

The works have been planned in consultation with Transport Scotland, Traffic Scotland and the emergency services.
