‘Unprovoked’ axe attack leaves man with ‘life-altering’ injuries after he was set upon while cycling in Nottingham

AN "unprovoked" axe attack has left a man with "life-altering" injuries.

He was set upon while cycling in Nottingham yesterday evening while out with two others.

They were approached by a man carrying an axe in Bestwood Lodge Drive at about 8.40pm.
