ISRAEL ADESANYA is back in action tonight in the main event of UFC 263 - which also includes Nate Diaz's return to the Octagon.

Adesanya, 31, suffered the first loss of his career fighting up at light-heavyweight at UFC 259, and has dropped back down in weight to defend his UFC Middleweight title in a rematch against Italian Marvin Vettori.

    Herb Dean breifly stops the fight. Edwards goes to touch gloves after the restart but Diaz slaps his hand away.

    Edwards doesn't like it and flips Diaz the bird.

    Another nasty leg kick lands for Edwards. Edwards takes Diaz's back after taking him down by the fence.

    Diaz works his way back to his feet. Edwards lands a nasty spinning elbow up against the fence.


    Leon Edwards is pawing at Nate Diaz with his jab but is using them to set up his jab.

    Diaz's movement already appears to be compromised, although he's doing a good job not showing he's hurt.

    Edwards tags Diaz with left hand and follows up with a left body kick.

    Diaz briefly plays possum, much to the delight of the crowd.

    Edwards tags Diaz with. aright hook before returning back to the lead leg.

    Diaz tags Rocky. A flurry of punches are thown and they clinch.

    Edwards brings the fight down to the ground and is working in Diaz's guard.

    Heel hook attempt from Diaz. Edwards is in a bad situation here. But he manages to escape.

    Edwards slams another leg kick into the meat of Diaz's lead thigh. Diaz briefly switches to orthodox.

    A big left hand lands for Diaz but is immediately met with a counter right from Edwards.

    They clinch up against the cage before the buzzer goes.

    Nate Diaz is trying to get Edwards out of his game by feigning interest and then attacking.

    He blitzes but gets tagged with a big left hand.

    Diaz has been tentative with his approach so far and is allowed Edwards to stalk him.

    Belal Muhammad defeats UFC legend Demian Maia via unanimous decision.

    The judges scored the contest 30-27, 29-28, 29-28 in the Palestinian-American's favour.

    That's ten wins inside the Octagon for Remember the Name.


    Demian Maia hasn't switched up his method of attack and has once again seen his numerous takedown attempts stuffed by Muhammad.

    Muhammad has done incredibly well to avoid being grounded by the Brazilian and landed great shots on the advancing future UFC Hall-of-Famer.

    Remember The Name should get the nod.


    Demian Maia has worked tirelessly to bring the fight to the groind and has had no success.

    Much like the first round, belal Muhammad's takedown defence has been on point.

    The Palestinian-America's takedown defence has given him renewed confidence, which has transitioned to his striking.

    Maia has it all to do in the third and final round/


    Demian Maia, unsurprisingly, has looked to take the fight down to the ground.

    Belal Muhammad has done a stellar job defending the BJJ expert's attempts to ground the fight and is getting the better of the exchanges.

    Tough round to score given Maia's lack of success with takedowns and Muhammad's lack of striking.


    Up next is an interesting welterweigt showdown between veteran Demian Maia and Belal Muhammad.

    Both men are in completely different stages of their respective careers, with BJJ expect Maia at the tale-end of his time as a fighter and Muhammad looking to mount a title run.
