Two teenagers who ‘lured’ an autistic boy to a field before stabbing him to death have been sentenced.

The boys, both currently 14, had argued with their former friend, Olly Stephens, before killing him in the Emmer Green area of Reading on January 3.

Olly was taken to the field by a girl he knew where the two boys lay in wait.

It followed a dispute on social media in which Olly had ‘stood up for the underdog.’

The boys, who can’t be named because of their ages, have been sentenced at Reading Crown Court to 13 years and 12 years respectively in a young offenders institution.

A 14-year-old girl who admitted manslaughter and perverting the course of
justice over the killing was sentenced to three years and two months in a young offenders institution.
