Witnesses called the National Park Service as the Cessna 207 plunged into a lake near the Utah-Arizona border, the Kane County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. Stated.

A witness on a passing boat worked with the pilot to save his four passengers from the submerged plane.
They were carried ashore, where a helicopter severely injured three of him and took them to St. was taken to Page Hospital.
The bodies of two tourists were later found 120 feet below the surface of the plane. They were recovered with the help of the National Park Service and the Utah Department of Public Safety.
Their identities have not yet been released.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
