Two couples are being sought as police investigate thefts from a South Derbyshire petrol station.

The couples were spotted on CCTV entering the Y-Pas Shell Petrol Station, in Willington and could have vital information, officers have said.

Derbyshire police have said it comes as on two occasions four individuals were seen entering the petrol station in Willington and taking various items from the shelves, with the total value of items from the two incidents at almost £150.

The four individuals were seen entering the shop on August 30 at approximately 6pm, and again on September 5 at approximately 7pm.

Police have now released CCTV of the couples they wish to speak to who may be able to help with the inquiry.

The male in the couple at the front of the picture has dark hair and is wearing a white bomber-style jacket and blue jeans, while his companion has blonde hair with glasses and is wearing a red and white striped t-shirt and light blue jeans.

The male in the couple at the back is wearing a beige baseball cap, along with a white and black jacket and dark trousers. His companion has dark hair and is wearing a grey jumper and dark trousers.
