Two British tourists were shot by gun-wielding thugs in an attempted robbery outside a five-star hotel in Argentina, it is reported.
Robbers on a motorbike ambushed holidaymakers and opened fire on the men, aged 28 and 35, during a violent struggle in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero.
The 35-year-old is said to be in a serious condition in hospital after a bullet entered his body through his right armpit and went into his chest.
The 28-year-old was shot in the thigh during the incident, which happened just feet from the Faena Art Hotel at about 11am local time on Saturday.

The injured Britons were taken to Hospital Argerich to be treated for their wounds, Clarin reported.
A witness, named only as Florencia, told Canal America 24 that there was a commotion outside the hotel and one person was on the ground being given medical treatment.
Florencia was told at the scene that the victims were shot during an attempted robbery.
It is believed the robbers were being supported by accomplices in a car when they attacked the holidaymakers, who are from England, according to reports.
It is possible that the attack was captured by CCTV systems in the area.
Police have launched a hunt for the gunmen, who fled the scene on the motorbike.
It was unknown if the victims were staying at the £350-a-night Faena Art Hotel, which has been named one of the best hotels in Argentina.
