The tot was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital under a police escort, but sadly she couldn't be saved and died a short time later.

The Record understands family members had gathered at the little one's grandparents to celebrate her mum Nicola Strathearn's birthday.

Those who knew and loved Gracie have been reacting to her death, with one posting on Facebook: "It was only the other day I saw your beautiful little smile Gracie, sleep easy little one."

Someone else wrote: "Gracie my little angel, you will always be so beautiful in all our hearts, you put a smile on everyone's face."

"Sleep tight little angel, I'll miss your cheeky little face", wrote another.

While a fourth said: "I am still in disbelief. Shine bright little beautiful Gracie. Nicola I am so sorry for your loss, I know your kids mean everything to you."
