With less than two weeks remaining until the start of the new season, Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly facing off for Saul Niguez's services.

Atletico Madrid are keen to cash in on the midfielder for a fee in the region of £35million and his representatives have flown to the UK to finalise a transfer.

United are also believed to be increasingly confident of beating Premier League rivals Chelsea to the signing of Erling Haaland.

Meanwhile, there is a new forward on Arsenal's radar and Harry Kane is set to re-affirm his desire to leave Tottenham for Manchester City, who are closing in on Jack Grealish.

Kane set for showdown talks

Harry Kane is set for further talks with Tottenham next week where he will reaffirm his desire to leave the club.

That's according to the Sunday Telegraph, which claims the striker is desparate to link up with England teammate Jack Grealish at Manchester City.

The Sky Blues bid £100million for Grealish on Friday and Aston Villa are expected to accept the offer.

Kane, meanwhile, informed Spurs he would like to leave earlier this summer, but the club rejected City's £100million approach.
