TOTTENHAM are reportedly targeting full-backs Max Aarons and Nathan Ferguson for the January transfer window.
The club are expected to have a "low key" January, but Jose Mourinho is keen on strengthening in the full-back areas.
The Mail claim that West Brom and Norwich teenagers Nathan Ferguson and Max Aarons have been scouted by the North London club.
Ferguson has enjoyed an incredible breakthrough campaign at the Hawthorns this season.
The 19-year-old was handed his senior debut by boss Slaven Bilic on the opening day of the Championship season.
And Ferguson hasn't looked back, cementing a regular place in the starting XI, having showcased his versatility by playing both at right back and left back.
Aarons, also 19, broke through at Carrow Road last season, featuring 41 times on the way to the Championship title.
And he is establishing himself in the Premier League this season, having started all but two games for Daniel Farke's Canaries.
It is thought that most of Mourinho's budget, however, will be saved for the summer.
Spurs are expected to go on a considerable spending spree at the end of the season - with the playing squad facing a big rebuild.
Club stalwarts Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are all set to leave in June at the expiration of their contracts.
There is some hope at White Hart Lane that Belgians Alderweireld and Vertonghen may sign extensions.
But Eriksen will almost certainly leave - and could even go as early as next month, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United circling.
