Currently the Duke and Duchess are on a six week break from royal duties. They have been in America, where they visited Meghan’s mother for thanksgiving, and commonwealth nation Canada.
On Friday the couple posted pictures on Instagram from their visit to Brinsworth House last year to draw attention to Royal Variety Charity work.
Brinsworth House is a residential nursing care home for those who have worked in the entertainment industry run by the charity.
In the social media post Meghan and Harry also included two photos of their attendance at the Royal Variety performance, held in support of the charity.
One shows Prince Harry laughing whilst the other depicts Meghan Markle talking with singer Gary Barlow.
The post received more than 261,000 likes from other Instagram users.
However a number of royal fans responded by demanding the couple post a picture of their 2019 Christmas card.
One commented: “Almost had a heart attack! Post the card please.”
Another jested: “When is the Christmas card getting released? This is torture.”
A third added: “We need the Christmas card please.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a picture of their Christmas card on Instagram on Friday.
It depicted the couple and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, posing on a motorbike and sidecar.
Meghan and Harry’s Instagram post included a caption explaining their support for the Royal Variety Charity.

It said: “Today we look back to Christmas 2018, ant the Duchess of Sussex’s visit to Brinsworth House.
“Each year, the UK’s much beloved Royal Variety performance is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity of which Her Majesty The Queen is Patron.
“Funds raised from the show and throughout the year, help entertainers from around the UK who need support and assistance as a result of old age, ill-health or hard times.
“At Brinsworth House, The Duchess joined residents singing carols and making Christmas decorations.
“Last Christmas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended their first joint Royal Variety performance at the iconic London Palladium.”
A picture of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall’s Christmas card has also appeared online.
It depicts the couple smiling while in a motorcar.
Charles and Camilla’s card sent Instagram into a frenzy and has so far been liked nearly 50,000 times.
One person wrote: “How fabulous - it must be such a thrill to receive!”
Another said: “That is the coolest card!”
A third commented how “great” the photograph of the happy couple was.
