SAVVY shoppers have already been spotting Christmas advent calendars for sale as they prepare their purses for the expensive festive season.

From Haribo, Cadbury's and Percy Pigs to Lego and beauty box options, we've rounded up ten advent calendars that are available to buy now.

While seeing Christmas goods on the shelves in September may seem a bit premature, you can use it to your advantage.

We spend an average of £420 on presents in the run-up to Christmas, according to eBay. 

And that's before all the decorations, parties and festive food.

So there's no denying that December is an expensive month and many are often left scrimping through January.

Add a pandemic into the mix and it's hardly surprising that so many of us will feel the pinch in our wallets ahead of this year’s Christmas festivities.

Planning in advance and spreading out the cost ahead of December is a great way to take financial pressure off the festive season.

We found chocolate calendars going for as little as £1 but there are all manner of different options to chose from.

Some are currently on offer so you can also save money if you buy them now rather than wait until the end of November.

Here we take a look at the ten best calendars on sale now.

1. Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar

Count down till Christmas with a festive-themed Cadbury milk chocolate every day.

You get 90g of chocolate in this calendar.

While we struggled to find the calendar on sale at any supermarket yet, you can already buy it online for £2.19 on Cadbury's website.

Delivery costs start at £3.95, so it may be worthstocking up on several chocolate items to make the purchase worth it.

You can also buy the calendar through Ocado for £2 but in order to do this you need to spend at least £40.

Delivery fees may also apply depending on the slot and where you live.

2. Haribo Advent Calendar

Kids and grown-ups a like will love the Haribo Christmas calendar which you can buy now subject to availability in stores.

You can find your nearest B&M branch using the online store locator tool.

Each day you'll open up the calendar to a different Haribo mix that come in a mini packet.

The calendar is also glow in the dark this year.

It's also available for £5 at Ocado but remember you have to spend at least £40 and delivery services may apply.

3. Macmillan 24 Beauty Treasures Advent Calendar

This beauty advent calendar is stocked with brands like Liz Earle, Soap & Glory, Botanics and Joules.

Every day you'll wake up to a new skincare or beauty item that will set you up for all those festive parties.

Not only tat but £2 from every calendar goes to Macmillan Cancer Support.

The price of the calendar is currently on offer for 50% off, selling for £42.50 down from £85.

You can buy it online online from Boots with free delivery.

4. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Advent Calendar

5. Fabulosa Scented tea light advent calendar

This lovely tealight candle advent calendar from Fabulosa was spotted by a shopper in a B&M store.

If Chocolates and sweet aren't your thing, you can give your home a festive ambiance with this calendar.

Behind each door is 24 tealight candles in colours like sugared almonds, festive lights, winter cherries and fairy dust.

If you're struggling to find this specific set in your local store, then you can also pick up AirWick's version from Ocado for £10, which includes a scented candle for every day leading up to Christmas.

6. Percy Pig Advent Calendar

M&S is gearing up for Christmas with this Percy Pig calendar.

Every day you will be surprised by a solid Percy Pig-themed milk chocolate.

On Christmas Eve, yo'll then be treated to a bag of the soft fruit flavour gums.

7. Bonne Maman 2021 Advent Calendar

Sweeten up your December mornings with this Bonne Maman 2021 calendar.

This countdown comes with the unusual treat of a mini jam jar in a different flavour every day.

Kids can count down to the big day with this LEGO City Advent Calendar, packed with fun mini-builds and LEGO City Adventures TV series characters.

The whole calendar includes 349 pieces, plenty to keep your little one going during December.

Argos is selling the set, as well as other variations of Lego calendars for £20.

10. Lindt Advent Calendar 

You can't go wrong with Lindt chocolate and this calendar offers 160g worth of different goodies.

While it is more expensive than other chocoalte options, you get a massive 160g of chocolate for your money.

You can pick it up cheapest from Ocado for £5.20.

But if you don't want to spend at least £40 with the delivery service, you can buy this calendar directly from the Lindt website for £5.99.
