OVER half the tickets have already been snapped up for the Restricted Rocks Festival which will be held in Witton Park in June.

The day-long event features leading tribute acts including QE2, Absolute Bowie (pictured), the Desert Monkeys and The Oasis Experience.

The festival will feature of host of family entertainment including extreme and child friendly fairground rides, circus performers and face painting, as well as licensed bars and a food court.

Advanced tickets to the festival are free, but a £3.50 booking fee will be applied to each ticket. Should the event not sell out, the remaining tickets would be available on the gate priced £10.
