HOODED raiders stole three designer puppies after smashing their way through a back door and attacking the owner and her mother.
The three thugs squirted an ammonia-type substance into the eyes of Sally Knight-Buxton and punched her in the face.
They hurled her 62-year-old mother to the floor and grabbed English bulldog puppies Prince, Meathead and Queenie — worth thousands on the black market.
Sally, 34, of Basildon, Essex, said they struck just before 11pm on Friday.
She told The Sun: “The men charged in the living room and threw this substance at us. My vision went completely blurry and tears were streaming down my face.
“I couldn’t see anything but I could hear it all. All I was worried about was my kids asleep upstairs.”
She said her three children, aged nine, seven and five, were “petrified”.
Sally added: “They heard everything. They loved those pups.”
She has not been able to go home since the robbery and has been staying with family.
And she said of the pups’ mum Bella: “She is not eating and she’s looking for her babies. I just hope Bella’s babies are brought home.”
Married Sally planned to sell the seven-week-old pups but they had not yet been advertised.
