Three air ambulances were called to the scene of a crash on a road in Ceredigion.

The crash happened around 6pm on the A487 on Sunday night. Traffic Wales described it as a "serious" accident. Dyfed-Powys Police said on Sunday: "Emergency services are currently at scene dealing with a road traffic collision on the A487 between Aberaeron and Synod Inn at Llwyncelyn."

They later tweeted just after 5am on Monday that the road had re-opened. No details of any casualties or the number of vehicles involved have been released.
