This Morning viewers have spotted some worrying signals over Caprice mystery split from pro partner Hamish Gaman.
The pair did not skate on Sunday night's show after 'parting ways' - and the presenters' were forced to address the situation on today's This Morning.
Holly Willoughby addressed Caprice's 'notable absence' during a showbiz segment with former skater Kem Cetinay.
Love Island star Kem said: "She parted ways with Hamish so hopefully we'll see her skating again and we see her in the completion because she’s a great skater."
This Morning viewers noted how the presenters did not give clear answers and spotted some concerning body language.
Phillip Schofield said: "Hamish will obviously part of the family still with the professional skates. He’s a great skater and a good choreographer.
"Hopefully looking forward to seeing Caprice next weekend."
A show source told the Mirror that Caprice does not have a new partner just yet but is currently working with the coaching team.
Some This Morning viewers took to Twitter after watching the presenters address Caprice's absence.
One viewer said: "@Schofe couldn't even look up when talking about @CapriceBourret_ .. She won't be back.. Unfortunately"
"This mention about Hamish & Caprice is just not good enough. I'm a nosey cow ffs," added another.
A third said: "Ok so something's kicked off with caprice what's with all the hush hush."
"Holly and Phil usually demanding transparency from other shows but not letting the viewers know about Hamish and Caprice," said a fourth.
Caprice has returned to Dancing On Ice training alone after severing ties with Hamish.
Show sources have confirmed that Caprice is back on the ice rink and is working hard to be ready for Sunday.
A spokesperson for ITV said: "We're pleased to say that Caprice is back on the ice today in training and very much working towards returning to the show on Sunday night."
There was mass confusion on Sunday night when the Dancing On Ice presenters revealed that Caprice would not be skating.
Baffled viewers demanded answers after being told that the couple had "parted ways" - with no further comment on the matter.
Revealing Caprice was not able to perform, Phillip told viewers: "Unfortunately Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week.
"As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains very much part of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week."
Caprice remained silent on Twitter after the announcement but did begin liking a series of tweets about the situation, including one that urged ITV to reveal the truth.
One tweet read: "So we're basically just ignoring #DancingOnIce now and waiting for @dancingonice to give us more @CapriceBourret_ info, yeah?"
Another agreed: " @dancingonice stupid announcement - more info please regarding @CapriceBourret_ and @HamishGaman . Surely you must have anticipated the reaction when you only give half a story."
