The latest coronavirus restrictions mean we'll soon be able to enjoy some of our favourite restaurants indoors again.

While many venues have adapted to survive by providing fine dining outdoors, all eateries will be able to open their doors fully from May 17.

With the date just around the corner, anticipation is growing for diners to be able to eat inside - and outside - at their favourite restaurants once again, with many places fully booked up for the next few weeks.

So how long do you have to wait for a table at the best-rated, and best-loved venues in Wales now?

We had a look at some of the top restaurants to see how hard getting a table for two on Saturday night would be.

Here's what they said at the time we went to press (Monday, May 11):

Tyddyn Llan - Mid-June

The nearest date we could get a table at this restaurant, mentioned in the Michelin guide, was June 12.

On this date there were tables available at 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm and 9pm.

However, the venue opens indoors from May 19 and there are earlier weekday and Saunday dates available - though they are booking up.
