For the past few weeks we've been allowed to meet friends and enjoy an outdoor meal in a restaurant for the first time this year.

But the changeable weather has made for a few chilly visits to your favourite Indian or Italian.

The Welsh Government is expected to confirm this week that indoor dining can reopen from Monday May 17, meaning you'll be able to go out without the need to bring your umbrella and jacket.

Here's a list of the places in Newport where you can already book an indoor table from next week.

Monusk Tapas and Wine Bar

The popular riverside tapas restaurant Monusk is already offering customers the option to book a table inside, and it's also keeping its wine Wednesday and fizz Friday deals in place.
