Fourteen people have been fined after being caught with cannabis in the Carmarthenshire area within the last six months.

Each person has been prosecuted at Llanelli Magistrates' Court within the last six months after police caught them carrying quantities of the Class B drug.

They include a 24-year-old man who was caught with 32g of cannabis in a Carmarthenshire village as well as a man who was stopped 15 miles away from his home with 28g of cannabis in his possession.

Each defendant was handed a fine that started at £80, with some even reaching £200, as a result of their offending.
