The Hull cafe that treats your dog to a free cake on their birthday

Many people treat their pet dog like a member of the family.

And of course, dog lovers just have to celebrate their pup's birthday every year.

A Hull cafe is offering a free cake for dogs on their birthday.

The Blue Whippet Cafe, Hessle Road, is the perfect spot for your pet's surprise party.

To sign up for the Hull Live newsletter, click here.

They can get a cake - dog friendly of course - which can be personalised with your pet's name, jazzy sprinkles, and chosen colour.

Your pet can also enjoy some doggy treats alongside their cake.

What's more you can get a hamper to take home so the birthday celebrations can continue.

If you can't make it into the cafe, you can have a special surprise box delivered to your home.

The cafe, where you can enjoy a cuppa with your pet, has launched the Dog Club where you can sign up your dog to be a member of the group.

Joining the club allows your pooch to get a free cake and discount vouchers for future visits.

Here's a look at The Blue Whippet Cafe's doggy birthdays.
