Someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK.
And in Wales there are currently 28 people reported missing. While most people who are reported missing are later found sadly this is not the case for all.
Missing People is the only charity in the UK which is dedicated to bringing missing children and adults back together with their families.
The website keeps a list of people from all over the UK who have gone missing and have not been found.
They also have a 24-hour helpline providing emotional support while they also encourage all of the missing people to get in touch.
These are Wales’ missing people.
Jamie Moreno, 48, was last seen at his home in Roath, Cardiff on March 23, 2020.
His family issued an emotional appeal begging him to come home.
Jamie was living on The Parade in Roath before he went missing. His family say he has a distinctive walk that would be recognised by those who knew him.
He is described as being approximately 5ft 9ins and usually wearing a beanie hat. He may have a beard at the time he went missing.
David Hugh Jones
David Hugh Jones went missing aged 54 on November 15, 2019.
He is from the Ceredigion village of Tre’r Ddol, around nine miles north of Aberystwyth.
He was last seen walking in a street in the village. Mr Jones is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, and with dark short brown hair.
Dyfed-Powys Police issued a fresh appeal for information in May this year.
Inspector Delme Rees said: "Mr Jones would have been 55 years old on April 12, 2020.
"We are aware he enjoyed walking along the country paths around his home village.
"Working with partners extensive searches and inquiries have been conducted and I would appeal to anyone who may have information that could help the investigation to contact police.”
Edele has been missing since July 10, 2019.
The 40-year-old was last seen in Abersoch, Gwynedd.
Jordan has been missing since July 24, 2019.
The 32-year-old from Aberdare was reportedly seen by a friend last year in Cwmbach but a mystery letter sparked a fresh appeal from police.
IT graduate Tapiwa went missing at the age of 21. His family have made fresh appeals to bring him home.
He's been missing from Swansea since February 7, 2019.
South Wales Police issued a new appeal for information in February this year.
Cuong has been missing from Cardiff since September 12, 2019.
Robert was 15 years old when he went missing 18 years ago.
He was last seen in Neath on March 22, 2002.
Lorraine was last seen at a Premier shop in Gabalfa, Cardiff, on January 31, 2016.
Police dogs were used to search the area and the River Taff was searched using sonar equipment in an attempt to find her body but so far she has not been found.
She was 57 at the time of her disappearance.
Haitham has been missing since February 24, 2016.
He was 28 at the time of his disappearance and was last seen in Cardiff.
Christine, also known as 'Sister Jacinta', was 39 when she disappeared.
She's been missing from the Swansea area since May 19, 1979.
Michael was living in Caerau, Bridgend, when he was last seen on November 18, 2011.
He is 5ft 10in with brown hair and blue eyes and was 45 at the time of his disappearance.
Kevin was reported missing on March 1, 2011.
Police officers believe he was last seen at the Ladbrokes in Swansea city centre’s Union Street the day before.
He was 45 at the time of his disappearance, is 5ft 8in with grey hair, and was last seen wearing his council work uniform.
On March 24, 2011, Parvin went missing.
He was 53 at the time.
William went missing from Perthcelyn in February 1997.
His age at the time of his disappearance was just 16.
Andrew went missing on June 24, 2008, when he was aged 34.
He was last seen at his home address in Melyn, Neath.
Fond of walks in the Brecon Beacons and Neath Valley, Andrew is described as 5ft 8in with brown hair and green eyes.
Dobir went missing on June 8, 2002.
He was 29 at the time and was last seen in Uplands, Swansea.
Aged 38 at the time of his disappearance, David has been missing since December 8, 2010.
He was last seen in Carmarthenshire.
Vietnamese teenager Na Dang went missing in Sedbury on April 27, 2015, but police suspect she was heading for Chepstow.
Na is 5ft 2in tall and was last seen in leopard-print pyjama bottoms and a navy blue puffer coat.

David was 69 at the time of his disappearance.
He's been missing since April 3, 2013, and was last seen in Wrexham.
James was last seen on October 24, 2004 in Tenby, Pembrokeshire.
He was 25 at the time.
He left the Upper Frog Street’s Prince of Wales pub in Tenby to walk back to his hotel on his own and was not seen after that.
In 2014 his family made a fresh appeal for information to mark a decade since his disappearance.
Owain was 36 when he was reported missing.
On March 10, 2012, he was meant to meet his father in Ceredigion but he didn’t turn up.
Owain is 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, and has blue-grey eyes.
Roger was 46 when he was reported missing from Aberystwyth on January 16, 1996.
Jerome was 15 when he went missing on New Year’s Day in 2001 in Cardigan.
He has an olive-skinned complexion and a distinctive one-inch scar which runs across his cheek from below his nostril.
There have been unconfirmed sightings in the past including in Portugal.
