'NASTY AIN'T CUTE'
Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin slammed trolls “spewing hate” at close friend Rachel Lindsay after she was “bullied” off Instagram.
The former ABC lead came to her podcast co-host’s defense after Rachel deleted her social media and claimed anyone sending her “nastiness” should be “embarrassed.”
The Minnesota native wrote a lengthy caption that praised Rachel and slammed anyone contributing to “racism and toxicity.”
“I’ve said this privately but I’ll say it publicly as well because it’s an important issue that needs addressing.
“To Rachel Lindsay: I love you, I stand by you and I support you in whatever way, shape or form that’s needed,” she proclaimed.
Reality Steve claimed at the beginning of the season that Matt James previously dated one of the Bachelor contestants, Madison Nelson.
"Some tea for you already: Apparently Madison Nelson was dating Matt last summer when Tyler was seeing GiGi," RS tweeted.
Madison, however, never made an appearance on the show. According to her LinkedIn profile ,she is currently based in New York City, working for IBM.
While many fans urged Rachel to take the position as the After the Final Rose host, she declined but admitted both she and her husband, Bryan Abasolo, wanted Emmanuel Ocho to take the spot.
“For AFTR, Bryan and I both talked about this - we think Emmanuel Acho would be fantastic,” Rachel said last month.
She added that he is “very outspoken about racial injustice, for social justice, and has pretty much been the person who said, ‘I can have these uncomfortable conversations, and people trust it.'”
“Who better to lead it? He's someone who’s not involved with the franchise, no ties, no bias - I think it’d be great," she gushed.
Fifteen of the original candidates will be reuniting tonight for the Women Tell All episode after the hometown date round recently commenced, and tensions are speculated to run hot during the episode.
The official network promo for the explosive reunion detailed: “Some may seek forgiveness while others take a stand, but everyone will have the opportunity to speak their piece, including the Bachelor himself.
Season 25's villain Victoria Larson modeled a new hoodie featuring her MUGSHOT on the back as she prepares for the much-anticipated Women Tell All Bachelor special.
Victoria, 28, has seemingly embraced her past mistakes and used them to her advantage as she is now selling hoodies with her mugshot from the arrest.
In a police report exclusively obtained by The Sun, Victoria was arrested in Tallahassee, Florida after stealing between $100 to $300 worth of goods from a Publix Supermarket when she was younger.
Matt James opened up to Good Morning America about being the Bachelor, saying: "It’s an honor. I’m just going to lean into myself and how my mom raised me, and hopefully when people invite me into their homes on Monday night they’re going to see that I’m not much different from them and they see that diverse love stories are beautiful."
Matt is the first black Bachelor in franchise history.
He will hand his last rose on March 9, 2021 in the two-hour special season finale.
Fans were wondering if Matt James drinks alcohol with frequency.
Although Matt is religious, he still likes to enjoy an alcoholic beverage every now and then.
Despite his drinking habits not being at the forefront of the show, he is occasionally seen sipping champagne on dates, like he did during his steamy hot tub outing with Bri Springs.
Throughout the season he's taken part in casual toasts, so it's likely that Matt is comfortable with moderate alcohol consumption at the very least.
SKIPPIN' THE EPISODE
Rachael Kirkconnell will not be featured in the Women Tell All episode of the Bachelor.
Chris Harrison explained that she will "have her time to speak."
He made the admission when former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay confronted him over the controversy surrounding Rachael.
“We will talk about it, on the ‘Woman Tell All’ we do get into it… Rachael was not there so we didn’t get into the Rachael of it all," he told Extra TV.
He added: "But Rachael will have her time to speak. Hopefully I will be there to have that debate with her and I will push her.
Rachael Kirkconnell was spotted wearing an antebellum-style dress for a frat party back in 2018.
The Antebellum South was a period in the history of the southern United States from the late 18th century until the start of the American Civil War in 1861,
The development of separate northern and southern economies, westward expansion of the nation, and a spirit of reform marked the era.
Wealthy southern planters wielded most of the economic and political power of the country.
Enslaved African people made up a large portion of the southern population during this time.
THE FIRST ONE
Rachel Lindsay is the first ever black Bachelorette in show history.
She has insisted she "can't take it anymore" after host Chris Harrison was forced to apologize for "defending racism."
Rachel spoke on her podcast Higher Learning on Friday, she said that although she is "contractually bound in some ways," when it is up "I am, too."
The 35-year-old added that she had been having a "really, really hard time" accepting Chris' apology because at the time of their interview on Tuesday he had "no problems" with his words.
Chris Harrison appears to be dropped by Manly Bands following the jewelry brand completely scrubbing the disgraced host from ALL their ads.
Months before he’d be at the center of the show’s ongoing racism scandal, the TV personality announced he was launching his own line of men’s wedding rings with the company.
The reality star has been completely removed from EVERY online portal as of Thursday.
The company’s website, along with their Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages do not mention Chris at all anymore.
His 24-piece ring collection is also no longer be available for purchase despite the host promoting it just days ago.
FANS DEMAND CHANGE
“We are the women of Bachelor Season 25. Twenty-five women who identify as BIPOC were cast on this historic season that was meant to represent change.
“We are deeply disappointed and want to make it clear that we denounce any defense of racism.
“Any defense of racist behavior denies the lived and continued experiences of BIPOC individuals. These experiences are not to be exploited or tokenized,” the group said.
Chris Harrison’s net worth is reportedly $16million.
He has amassed over $8million in just Bachelor salary and apparently makes $600,000 per episode.
He is best known for being the host of the Bachelor since 2002 and all its spin-offs.
Bachelor In Paradise Villain Jordan Kimball vowed to “raise absolute hell” if Chris Harrison is fired as host for the show’s racism scandal.
The reality show contestant - who was kicked off the Bachelor spinoff for fighting with another man - claimed the controversial face of the franchise deserves to keep his job.
Before being eliminated, Bachelor Nation had questions about the validity of the show's "villian" Victoria Larson.
Victoria was branded the “villain” of Matt James’ season pretty much from the start, but later fans speculated she might’ve been “planted” on the show by producers.
A few fans think she might be a true contestant but decided it upon herself to create more drama to get more of a story on the show.
Either way, many are looking forward to her return tonight.
THE SHOW GOES ON
A source said the Women Tell All episode may not have aired tonight.
The Sun learned on Feb. 19, 2021 that Bachelor execs were working on “reducing” Chris Harrison’s screen time for the remainder of Matt James’ season.
Due to the disgraced host being at the center of the show’s ongoing racism scandal, Monday's Women Tell All special was in danger of being entirely scrapped.
“Producers are currently working with editors to reduce the amount of screen time Chris has for the already-filmed episodes from the remainder of Matt’s season,” a source told The Sun.
The informant continued: “They’re scrambling to get Monday’s episode changed. His role will be reduced as much as possible that still allows the season to play out.
Matt’s historic season as the first Black Bachelor was filmed last October through November and premiered in January while the WTA was taped in early February.
The source added: “They already filmed the Women Tell All which Chris will be front and center of. There’s no way to remove him from that, he’s nearly the whole show.
The Bachelor's Matt James and the Bachelorette's Tyler Cameron have been best friends since college.
Tyler C, featured in Hannah Brown's season of The Bachelorette, met his best friend while playing football together at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
Since college, the two have remained close, and have even gone into business together.
Bachelor fans aren't the only ones speaking out against the show's longtime host.
Celebrity Wheel of Fortune shocked fans when they aired Chris' episode on Feb. 25, 2021, despite claims that it was canceled and receiving no promotion by the show.
The episode had been recorded back in December and was set to raise money for Feeding America.
Chris landed in hot water a few days ago when he seemingly defended historical racism amid the controversy surrounding contestant Rachel Kirkconnell, who attended a plantation-style party back in 2018.
Because of this, fans took to social media to slam the Bachelor host as well as the producers of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
CLOSE BUT FAR
Matt was initially scheduled to appear on Clare Crawley's 2020 season of The Bachelorette, but he never made it.
The coronavirus pandemic delayed production, and Matt got the call for the 2021 Bachelor slot during the delay.
"When filming [Crawley’s season] couldn’t move forward as planned [because of the coronavirus pandemic], we were given the benefit of time to get to know Matt and all agreed he would make a perfect Bachelor," said Karey Burke, the president of ABC Entertainment.
Matt and Clare never got a chance to meet - and Clare was later replaced by Tayshia Adams when she fell for one of the contestants, Dale Moss.
FEEDING THE WORLD
Matt James, 29, and Tyler Cameron, 27, run ABC Food Tours, an organization aimed to help children from low-income households try out restaurants in their communities.
The best friends lead the tours and run the operations of the organization, which has grown incredibly since Tyler’s stint on the Bachelorette.
The organization so far is serving over 50,000 children in Manhattan and Brooklyn neighborhoods and seeks to extend its services to the Bronx borough.
THE FINAL ROSE?
Rachael Kirkconnell feels her ongoing “racist” controversy caused the “end of the entire franchise,” a source exclusively told The Sun.
The Matt James frontrunner has been at the center of the series’ current race scandal that was further fueled after Chris Harrison “defended” her past actions in an interview with ex Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay.
A source close to the reality contestant said: “A lot of people are still blaming Rachael for everything going on with the whole show and she feels terrible about it.
“It seems she feels like she’s caused the end of the entire franchise.”
Sarah Trott, who self-eliminated on the Bachelor, will tell her side of things with Matt on the Women Tell All episode.
During the season, fan account Bachelor Nation Scoop dug up photos of Sarah leaving a nightclub with rapper G Eazy.
After the night out, the pair exited the club together and got into the same car.
Neither G-Eazy, whose real name is Gerald Earl Gillum, or Sarah publicly commented on the relationship.
