A teenager was threatened at knife point before being robbed of his motor-bike.

Police are investigating the shocking incident which happened close to a primary school and church just before 8pm on Thursday May 18.

The 16-year-old boy was approached by two others at the junction of Mill Lane and Lythcoe Avenue in Fulwood, Preston.

One of the offenders was holding a knife before the teen was threatened, assaulted and robbed of his 'much-loved' bike.

A spokesperson for the police said: "DC Hannah Bibby is investigating a robbery which took place on Mill Lane near the junction of Lythcoe Avenue, Fulwood, on May 18 at 7.53pm.

"The victim, aged 16, has been approached by two offenders, one holding a knife.

"The offenders have threatened to harm the victim, assaulted him, and proceeded to steal his much-loved motorbike.

"The investigating officer believes the offenders came from the direction of Cadley Causeway."
