Teacher Girlfriend will face trial after being accused of having sex with a 15-year-old student.
Rebecca Joines, 28, has been charged with her two sexual acts with her children.
She appeared on her court at Manchester's Crown for the first time today.
The defendant, who wore a beige jacket, white top and black pants for the hearing, spoke only to confirm his name and pleaded not guilty to both charges.
The allegation concerns a juvenile whose name cannot be named for legal reasons.
Both date him back to October 2021.
It is alleged that Joines "deliberately touched" the boy "without reasonably believing he was over the age of 16."
The judge heard the defendant.
She is not currently employed by the relevant education authorities.
School officials sat in a public gallery and watched proceedings.
Joyn, from Salford, was granted bail on the condition that she had no contact with prosecution witnesses and had no contact with anyone under the age of 18 who was unsupervised.
Her trial date was:
Judge Rachel Smith, which is expected to last four days, warned Joines that he would have to attend two more hearings in the case in October.
