Police recovered a taser along with drugs and cash when they raided a property in Trafford.
A cannabis bush worth £1,500 and around £500 worth of white powder believed to be cocaine was found during the search in Sale.
Officers also recovered snap bags, scales and £575 in cash during the raid on Wednesday.
Local officers based in Trafford said they arrested a woman aged 26 and a man aged 25 for possession with intent to supply drugs and possession of a taser firearm.
They have been released while enquiries continue.
In the post, police said they carried out the raid with a 'Misuse Of Drugs Act & Firearms warrant'.
They were acting on information given to them, they said.
In the full post on Twitter, police said: "Yesterday morning, Trafford officers executed a Misuse of Drugs Act and Firearms warrant in Sale.
"The search recovered approximately £500 of powder believed to be cocaine and £1,500 worth of cannabis bush, a taser, £575 in cash, new snap bags and scales.
"The occupants were arrested for possession with intent to supply drugs and possession of a taser firearm.
"They were subsequently interviewed and have been released while enquiries continue."
