Parents are being challenged to make sure they know where their teenagers are amid complaints of 'anti-social behaviour'.

A Swadlincote Safer Nieghbourhood Team spokesperson said: "Patrols are regularly being conducted on the rooftops of the shops on the High Street in Swadlincote.

"It appears a group of teens have made this their new spot to hang out. Not only are rooftops highly dangerous.

"There is also a large amount of litter being left behind

"Preventative measures are being put in place with the owners of the properties.

"This anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in our town - do you know where your teenagers are going?"
