Sunny Pearson Park visitors make the most of better Hull weather

This was the scene in Pearson Park on Sunday afternoon as people made the most of some sunshine following a very rainy Saturday.

Hull Live told on Saturday now the wet weather had once again forced many pubs in Hull and East Yorkshire to temporarily close.

Many would have been hoping to make the most of the region's beer gardens over the weekend, but the washout weather on Saturday had other ideas. Thankfully the sunshine was out on Sunday though as the photos below show.

It shows people making the most of the nicer weather in the popular west Hull park.

Elsewhere, Hull Live captured people out having drinks or a bite to eat on a bustling Newland Avenue as beer gardens reopened again in the drier weather. See those pictures here.

Hull Live also captured the washout weekend weather in Hull on Saturday as torrential rain closed pubs. View the pictures here to see the difference the sunshine brought with it on Sunday.
