JEREMY Clarkson told a Who Wants To Be Millionaire? contestant: "I'm a bit disappointed you've come to me at 500 quid."
The 61-year-old star looked stunned when he was called in to help on the third-lowest rung on the path to a million.
Contestant Jack Shutt was stumped when asked: "What type of vehicle is a juggernaut?"
He was presented with the options of train, ship, lorry or helicopter but told the host: "Not a strong point."
Jeremy replied: "What, the English language?"
Laughing, Jack told him: "Yeah. It would be at this point. I'm pretty sure it's not a helicopter. I'm not entirely sure but I'm hoping maybe that you will, Jeremy. I'd like to ask the host."
The presenter, who repeated the lad's name in action-movie style throughout his appearance on the show, told him: "OK, Jack Shutt.
"I'm a bit disappointed you've come to be at 500 quid. Here's what I think. I don't think anything, I know it's a lorry.
"Although there was a juggernaut set on board a cruise liner with Richard Harris. But it isn't a ship it's a lorry and I'm 100 per cent certain of that - and that's my final answer."
Despite faltering in one of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's earlier questions, Jack made it all the way to £64,000.
Jeremy told him: "You've been a great contestant, you've got a fantastic name and you've got £64,000."
