Strictly’s Tess Daly crying as husband Vernon Kay makes the I’m A Celebrity final telling fans ‘I’m so nervous’

STRICTLY Come Dancing's Tess Daly was left crying as her husband Vernon Kay made the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! final.

The 46-year-old star will now battle Giovanna Fletcher and Jordan North to be crowned King of the castle in tomorrow night's show.

And his doting wife Tess admitted that she'd been full of nerves as she watched tonight's episode, and took to her Instagram Story afterwards to thank fans for their support.

Squealing with her hands over her mouth, the blonde beauty's eyes were glistening with tears as she exclaimed: "He's in the final!

"I can't believe it, my heart is just racing I am literally so excited, and nervous, and overwhelmed.

"Thank you so much for everyone who voted for Vernon - see you at the final!"

Tess, 51, previously admitted that she's been unable to sleep while her husband is away - and when she does she has nightmares about doing gruesome Bushtucker Trials.

She said: "Oh my goodness, it feels like he has been away forever. I think about him every moment of every day and I watch him every night.

"He is doing brilliantly and it's lovely watching him but it's nerve-wracking, it really is. I worry about him being cold, about him not eating.

"Honestly, I have barely slept. I don't think I have slept more than five or six hours since he has been in there.

"The other day I woke up dreaming I was doing a challenge with Claudia [Winkleman]. It involved snakes and being underground and it was terrifying."

The supportive wife added: "I am living and breathing it every step of the way but loving it. I have laughed with them and cried with them."

Tess and Vernon have been married since 2003 and share two daughters, 16-year-old Phoebe and 11-year-old Amber.

Tonight's instalment of I'm A Celeb saw the final four take on the iconic Celebrity Cyclone challenge, with Vernon wowing viewers as a real-life superhero - appearing to walk on water as he battled the elements.
