MICHELLE Visage joked about landing a "dream role" in EastEnders as Kat Moon's American cousin.
The Strictly Come Dancing star had her heart set on joining the BBC1 show - but then its former executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins left.
EastEnders' former exec producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins confirmed they had been talks to make the iconic moment happen.
He wrote on Twitter: "We discussed it - but then I left! @michellevisage and @JessieWallaceUK together? QUEENS. x."
But he left before being able to unite Michelle and Kat Moon actress Jessie Wallace.
Proving she's not prepared to let go of the dream, last month Michelle told Good Housekeeping she preferred EastEnders over Coronation Street, adding: "Only because I believe I am Kat Slater's American cousin. I'm still vying for that guest role."
After spotting this online, Jessie shared the video and insisted: "I believe this too @michellevisage."
Eighteen months ago, Michelle once again made her feelings clear about her love of the soap when she tweeted: "If Kat is back, then she to let EastEnders know needs to be where she was hiding out: at her American cousin's place, aka ME. I WANT ON."
Michelle has had a complicated relationship with the BBC over the last few weeks since signing up to dance talent show Strictly.
The Sun revealed she threw a strop when she was voted off Strictly on Sunday night before after being snubbed from the show's live tour.
Michelle told ITV's Lorraine: "I wanted to do it, I wasn't asked to do it, I think there was complications with dates.
"At the end of the day it's going to be a great tour, I would love to be on it, but there you go.
"Sometimes you can't get everything you want."
She was kicked off Strictly after performing Voguing for the first time in Strictly's history.
It caused controversy online, with some viewers claiming it "isn't a real dance".
She broke down in tears on It Takes Two on Monday night as she hit back at the criticism.
