When pro dancer Janette Manrara announced she was quitting Strictly Come Dancing it was a mortifying moment for many fans.
Thankfully she didn't go far and has now become the host of Strictly's popular spin-off show It Takes Two every Wednesday and Thursday.
Rylan Clark-Neal, the main host of It Takes Two, will still present on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. But who is the American ballroom and Latin dancer and why did she leave Strictly Come Dancing?

Janette is a professional dancer and has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing for eight years. She is 37 years old and was born in Miami in to a Cuban-American family.
Originally a salsa dancer, she began formal training at 19 years old and has appeared on US dance reality television competition So You Think You Can Dance and then later on musical TV series Glee.
Janette moved to the UK to join the line-up of Strictly pro dancers in 2013 and got engaged to her co-star Aljaz Skorjanec two years later. Janette now dances in several UK tours with her husband.
After hearing from BBC bosses that she would be the perfect replacement for Zoe Ball Janette retired from Strictly Come Dancing earlier this year.
Janette said she has always dreamed of moving into presenting roles so couldn't refuse the offer.
She told The Mirror: "It all happened quite quickly. I messaged Zoe Ball the day she announced she was leaving saying: ‘I’m going to miss you so much.'
“She replied: ‘It should be you taking over’ with a wink face. I remember thinking: ‘If only!’
“A few weeks later the Strictly producer called and asked how I’d feel if they put me forward for it. I thought about not being able to dance and almost said no. Then I thought: ‘This is too good to be true!’.”
During her time on Strictly, Janette has partnered with Julien Macdonald, Jake Wood, Peter Andre, Melvin Odoom, Aston Merrygold, Dr Ranj Singh and Will Bayleyalthough she has never won the competition.
