Strictly Come Dancing fans became even more convinced than ever that Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice's chemistry is real after tonight's performance.

The pair danced a Viennese Waltz to She Used To Be Mine from Waitress this evening and their romantic routine left the judges teary eyed.

But fans also spotted Giovanni kissing Ranvir's head, prompting furious speculation that they could indeed be dating.

Taking to Twitter this evening after the performance, one fan wrote: " He kissed her head and i have feelings about it."

"If Giovanni and Ranvir aren’t dating, they must be f*****g great actors," another commented.

A third tweeted: "I will not be surprised if Ranvir and Giovanni announce they are together next year."

The pair had been highly praised the judges, with Motsi Mabuse choking up as she and Shirley Ballas giving a standing ovation.

"I feel like you've now finally come into you," Motsi gushed.

She said: "A friend who came to the first live show said, 'Dance with your heart and your feet will follow and tonight I really tried to do that.'"

"Absolutely," Giovanni said.

Earlier this week, pair appeared on It Takes Two and promised that this weekend's routine would be "braver" following criticism from Craig Revel Horwood about their lifts on Saturday.

Over the past few weeks, the pair have fast become favourites among Strictly fans for their intense chemistry and Ranvir's astounding improvement.

Appearing on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two today, they explained that they spent "a long time" on the acting side of the dance.

"Thursday's the performance day," Ranvir explained. "Sometimes he's gone, 'You don't have very good technique so just really sell the story.' So I just fool everyone into believing the story!"

Laughing, host Zoe Ball responded: "He just says the best things!"

Ranvir admitted that she had been worried that she had let Giovanni down on Saturday and that she didn't know how it had gone until much afterwards.

The pair received 24 out of 30 and responding to Craig's criticism that they had played it safe with the lifts, Giovanni said: "She panics a lot so before even doing the steps she panics and says, 'I don't think I can do this' and I said, 'You didn't even try it'.

"But we are achieving that, this is a new week and we're braver this week."
