Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly "monitoring" Maisie Smith and HRVY to make sure they don't break the show's kissing ban.
The contestants have engaged in some flirty banter in recent weeks and a new report suggests it's prompted BBC chiefs to keep a close eye on the air.
Everyone taking part in the show has to stick to strict measure to keep the set Covid safe, and The Sun On Sunday reports producers won't tolerate any breaches.
A source said: "Maisie and HRVY are being monitored by the producers after it’s become clear their connection could easily lead into a Strictly romance.
"They’re both young, single and hot and the thought is that the two of them could bring the other cast into risk if they break the guidelines and get closer."
The insider added that the cast have been told kissing is strictly off limits and social distancing must be maintained to keep everybody safe.
HRVY, 21, previously said of his co-star: "I love Maisie, she’s a great girl and has got great banter.
"When I saw her in her blue dress last week, she looked incredible. I can’t wait to see her grow and look amazing every week."
They have also engaged in some cheeky exchanges on social media.
After comparing him to Justin Bieber in a post online, Maisie, 19, added: "You just reminded me my spaghetti’s almost done!" to which Hrvy replied: "Stop flirting, you love spaghetti".
However, HRVY admitted they were being kept apart by the Covid rules which means they don't get to hang out on set.
He explained: "I’ve spoken to Maisie at the studios, but the thing is legally I’m not even allowed to go near her.
"So for now we are great friends, and she’s lovely.
"I am going to focus on the dancing, and all that stuff can come second, but who knows what will happen after the show!"
Strictly got off to a flying start last night with the first live show.
Maisie danced with partner Gorka Marquez, who showed off a new blonde hair 'do, while HRVY performed with Janette Manrara.
The influencer has since been tipped to take the Glitterball trophy after a glowing review from the judges for his first dance.
