Merseyside has a yellow weather warning in place on Saturday and Sunday for wind.

The reason this storm has not been named Ellen is because the name was first announced as Jorge by the Spanish Met.

The Met office said: "A spell of strong winds is expected to move northeast across a large swathe of the UK through Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.

"More isolated gusts of 65-70 mph, particularly on coasts and other exposed areas, are probable."
