These are the Staffordshire towns and villages with the highest covid infection rates.

In many places in the county, rates have continued to rise during the most recent seven days covered by official Government data.

Burton's rates, however, are falling in several neighbourhoods, including Shobnall, Eton Park, Winshill and the centre of town.

The highest infection rate in the town area is in Brizlincote, where 447.6 in every 100,000 residents has tested positive.

Some parts of the county have infection rates as high as 933.5, as is the case in Cheadle South and Upper Tean.
