One of Hull's most popular bars is to spread its wings into Beverley, bosses have revealed.
Atom Brewery has been going from strength to strength since opening its doors in Hull's former Corn Exchange almost two years ago.
The historic pub had been trading for more than three centuries but was transformed by Atom into a lighter, brighter venue.
Now, the attention of its owners have turned to Beverley where they plan to turn another historic spot into their latest project.
A row of former Grade II-listed cottages, which were most recently used by Roots Rum Shack and Kitchen until its closure last December, will soon become Atom's second bar.
Bosses are promising a "Scandi-style" modern café bar for the town and are hoping to open up early in the New Year - hopefully in January.
It comes on the back of their success in Hull's Old Town which seen Atom become a popular stop-off on the city's drinking scene, combining ales created at their own brewery and flavours from across the world.
Describing why Beverley was the "natural step" in the company's development, Sam Welburn, the firm's sales manager, said: "There is obviously a solid base for us. We know there are people that come through to the Corn Exchange so to put one on their doorstep should work.
"We opened the Corn Exchange 18 months ago, nearly two years ago and this is off the back of the success of that.
"It's been a fantastic success. It seemed like the natural step.
"I've lived in Beverley for all my life, apart from when I went to uni, and to do that in Beverley is a great opportunity.
"Beverley and its venues have supported us as a venue since day one."
The bar will also serve food and coffee according to Mr Welburn, although he says they will be concentrating on liquid refreshment during the first phase after opening.

He has also pledged to stock a wide range of international bottled beers, alongside their own work.
The new venue is located close to Tesco in New Walkergate, close enough to be considered part of the town's bustling pub scene, but also a small distance off the beaten track.
"We have been in there for the last few months getting it up to scratch", he said.
"It's three old cottages that have been knocked through to make one place."
The firm also hopes to start recruiting for up to half a dozen new staff in January to keep the people of Beverley refuelled.
