A man has died and three have been injured after a horror stabbing in Sheffield.

Police were called to Horninglow Road in the Firth Park area of the city.

The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday, August 8, and the police were called to attend.

A man was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his upper body but was sadly pronounced dead shortly after.

Three other men who were also involved in the same incident sustained none life threatening injuries arising from the same incident and are receiving treatment - their ages are not known.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area or may have mobile phone or dashcam footage

Detectives are carrying out enquiries and an investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.

The South Yorkshire Police have said: "Following a large-scale disturbance on Horninglow Road there will be an increased police presence in the area for the rest of the weekend."

They are also appealing for witnesses who might have been on Horninglow Road at the time of the incident. They would also like anyone with mobile phone or dash-cam footage to get in contact to help them with their enquiries.
