St Louis Black Lives Matter protesters RETURN to home of McCloskey couple who previously pointed guns at gate crashers

'STAND UP, FIGHT BACK'

ST Louis Black Lives Matter protesters have returned to the home of the McCloskey couple who previously pointed guns at gate crashers.

Video footage shows additional metal barriers placed in front of Mark, 63, and Patricia McCloskey's, 61, gated property.

Several hundred protesters made a peaceful return trip to the mansion on Friday, marching along the busy public boulevard called Kingshighway, which intersects with Portland Place, a private street where the couple lives.

Chanters were heard at the gate just outside of the residence for about 15 minutes.

Inside the gate, more than a dozen men in plain clothes walked the grounds and peered out from a second-floor balcony of the couple’s home, the Associated Press reported.

One protester briefly straddled an iron gate as if he was going to jump over, but did not. No one threw anything and no one behind the gates showed aggression.

One man on the McCloskeys' balcony clapped along with the chanting protesters.

The racially diverse crowd on Friday carried signs that read "Black Lives Matter," "Defund the Police" and "No Justice, No Peace."

They were chanting slogan such as, "when Black lives are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back," and "this is what democracy looks like."

It was not immediately known if the McCloskeys were home.

The duo confronted the group of about 500 protesters after they broke down a gate in the neighborhood, according to NBC News.

In a video posted on Twitter, the man can be seen pointing a rifle at protesters, while the woman holds a gun and speaks with the passing crowds.
