Families will be able to enjoy a spectacular drive-through enchanted forest, lake and lights experience in Wirral this Christmas.
The Winter Wonderlight in Thornton Hough will launch next month, when Thornton Manor will open its private park and landscaped gardens to the public for the very first time.
Tickets are now on sale for the magical drive-through event which will allow families and bubbles of up to six, to safely follow a trail in their own cars, through the grounds of the Elizabethan house, travelling from zone to zone of spectacular illuminated displays.
These themed areas include a spellbinding Northern Lights show by the lake, to the wonders of an LED-lit meadow, and finishing the tour through a snow-covered winter wonderland with giant floating snowflakes.
Completely contactless and Covid-safe, each car takes a dashboard audio box to provide an enhanced in-car sound experience as they travel between each display.
Emma Rainford, deputy general manager of Thornton Manor's Winter WonderLight spoke about the inspiration for the concept of the event.
She said: "Winter WonderLight is all about bringing magic, wonder and excitement for families and loved ones this winter. We all need something to look forward to and keep spirits high.
"The stunning location in the grounds of Thornton Manor and the intimate setting inside your car gives that personal and luxurious 'theatre box' seat experience, and the log fire display on the audio box will make you feel warm and cosy.
"We cannot wait to welcome everyone to enjoy this marvellous fusion of festive and theatrical light experiences."
Tickets are on sale through the Winter WonderLight Eventbrite page and are priced at £39.50 per car (holding up to six people). The event lasts approximately 40 minutes.
