A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a house shooting.
The 'targeted attack' happened at around 12.30am on Monday (October 25).
Lancashire Constabulary were called to a report of a suspected firearms discharge in Cedar Grove in Skelmersdale.

Officers attended the property on the street and found damage to the front door consistent with a firearm being fired.
No injuries were reported.
Detectives investigating the 'worrying and concerning incident' believe it to be a 'targeted attack' and said there is no risk to the wider community.
A 35-year-old man from Skelmersdale has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Officers are continuing to urge anyone with information to get in touch and patrols have been stepped up in the area.
Det Insp Steve Monk, of Lancashire Police, said: "This is clearly a worrying and concerning incident.
"We have arrested a man and we would continue to appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
"Patrols have been increased and you should expect to see a visible police presence in the area in the coming days.
"If you have any concerns please feel free to speak to an officer."
