Sister Wives’ Meri and Kody Brown haven’t started building dream home two years after land purchase as marriage crumbles

SISTER Wives stars Kody and Meri Brown have yet to build on property they purchased nearly two years ago as their marriage continues to crumble.

Meri, 49, posted a photo of the family’s Coyote Pass property, which was purchased in June 2018 for $820,000, in Flagstaff, Arizona over the weekend.

But all that could be seen in the photo was vacant land, as Kody, 51, and his four wives Meri, Janelle, 50, Christine, 48, and Robyn, 41, have yet to build their four homes on the property.

Stalling on building comes amid marital problems between Kody and Meri.

Meri reignited split rumors when she posted cryptic quotes over the last month.

Last week, Meri posted a photo without her wedding ring on.

She captioned the picture: “You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. Do the thing you think you cannot do.”

The LuLaRoe clothing seller wrote on Instagram last week: ”Whether with my business associates or in my personal life, I can't force anyone to be who they're not, feel how they don't feel, or meet me anywhere they're not willing or able to meet me. And that's ok. I'll be here for them when they are.”

She continued: “I can only control me and how I respond or react to any given situation. I make my own choices and I'm responsible for them.”

She shared on Thursday: “When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person that walked in. That’s what the storm is all about.”

Meri, who is very active on social media, snubbed Kody for their 30th wedding anniversary, as he did the same.

Meri and Kody have had relationship issues in recent years.

She was involved in a catfish scandal and fell in love with another man, who ended up being a woman.

Kody also divorced her in 2014 to marry fourth and "favorite" wife Robyn, which Meri cried over on the most recent season.

On Sister Wives, Kody admitted he “regrets” their marriage.

He said: “I feel like I was deceived into a relationship that was very different than what I expected. Meri and I had a fast courtship with a lot of expectations and a lot of not communicating.”

Meri added: “The relationship he and I had, it’s dead, it’s gone, it’s over.”

The two were seen for the first time together in months on social media when he appeared on Meri’s Facebook Live video last week to ask her to sign legal documents.

Their delay in building on the property also comes amid the family’s financial issues.

The family had trouble selling their homes in Las Vegas and took losses on the houses.

Kody and Christine purchased a $520,000 in Arizona, while he and Robyn bought a home for $900,000.

As for Meri and Janelle, they are renting homes as they wait to purchase land on Coyote Pass.

On the most recent season, Kody and Robyn fought over whether to rent or buy a home.

Robyn feared purchasing a house would stall the family from building on Coyote Pass.

Kody threatened to “dissolve” their partnership if she didn’t agree to buy a home and admitted he “bullied” her into the decision.

And they are still having money troubles today, as The Sun exclusively reported Kody and Robyn applied for a home equity line of credit in the amount of $150,000 on March 20, which was approved.
