Simon Cowell reveals he was tested for coronavirus alongside America’s Got Talent crew after Heidi Klum showed symptoms

SIMON Cowell has revealed he was tested for coronavirus after Heidi Klum showed symptoms.

The music mogul and the rest of the America's Got Talent crew were checked out by medics when Heidi fell ill.

The 60-year-old was seen out at the weekend buying groceries, but wore a mask and gloves to protect himself.

Asked how Heidi is doing while packing his shopping into his convertible, Simon said: "She's doing great."

When pushed on whether she tested positive for the virus, he added: "I believe so, yes. We all got tested, we had to."

The Sun Online has reached out to Heidi's representatives.

Got Talent judge Simon was also asked by fans for updates on the show, which had to halt filming over the coronavirus outbreak.

Looking fighting fit, Simon said: “All going well, because we've already filmed a lot it's in the can. I want to get it out as quickly as possible while everyone is at home because they've got nothing to watch.

"I don't want to sit on all this material, it would be crazy.

"I everything goes ok, should be coming back at the end of July.

"The auditions start in the UK end of next week and then in the US last week in May.’’

He said the networks in the UK and US "have very good’’ and is looking forward to returning to work as he chatted in the car park of Whole Foods in Malibu.

Simon's co-star Heidi - who judges on AGT - self quarantined fearing her fever and runny rose were signs she had contracted COVID-19.

Heidi posted on Instagram after being tested for the coronavirus yesterday: “Like many of you, I also have been sick all week and, unfortunately, my husband who returned from his tour a couple of days ago is also feeling ill.

“To be safe, we are staying apart until we get the results of our coronavirus tests.”
