Alongside a pair of dark glasses and a cap, a pampered pooch is the ultimate celebrity accessory.
Paris Hilton, Reese Witherspoon and Orlando Bloom are often papped with canines by their sides, drawing these recognisable celeb faces even more attention.
As a range of celebrities showcase their new dogs to the world, we look at some of the most pampered pooches out there, from mighty Labradors to cutesy Pugs and Labradoodles.
Despite what her surname sounds like, Katty Kat-ona is one big dog lover.
She recently lost her Labrador Paddy, who was 17 and was put down after suffering from pain. Kerry often shared images of him on social media.
But Kerry's got plans for a new doggy, and not just to keep her company - but to keep her safe too.
After Kerry's friend Katie Price got burgled, the former Atomic Kitten star decided she would invest in a protection dog, which typically sell for between £15,000 and £40,000.
The dogs are intensively trained to protect their owners against home invaders and Kerry shared images of her meeting some of the dogs recently.
For protection, she wore a huge padded sleeve which the dog could latch onto without hurting her arm.
Sharing the video of her arm in the padding, she wrote on Instagram : "Only go to the best if you want the best @ambassadorprotectiondogs my dogs make me feel so safe so having that but more protection goes a long way!"
Her new dog is a Rottweiler called Thor but she won't get to take him home until he's fully trained.
Geordie Shore star Vicky has always been talking about wanting a dog, and recently she finally got one, thanks to Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity.
She posted a photo of the pooch on Instagram and captioned it: “So I think I may have mentioned before that I want a dog?
“I mean just once or twice. Anyway, I’m so happy to be able to tell you guys that my dream is coming true and I’m going to be a doggie mam!!!"
“Myself and @ercan_ram have been working with the lovely guys at @dogstrust to try and find the perfect doggo match for us and we HAVE!!!

“I feel like I’ve talked about this moment so much on social media you’re probably all now as invested as I am."
And the 33-year-old insisted that fans should think twice before getting a puppy, calling their adoption "a big responsibility" and a "huge decision."
Vicky hasn't confirmed the breed of her dog yet, although it appears to be a golden Labrador if it's similar to the one she's shared online (which she said is like the dog she's adopting, but not the exact one.)
Jac is following in the footsteps of Kerry Katona with her new guard dog, which was pictured getting delivered to the house she shares with former TOWIE star Dan Osbourne and their daughters.
The couple have the Rottweiler to protect themselves and their £1.3 million home. They first visited the pooch at the training facility in February, when the family were criticised for travelling in lockdown.
"[We were] sitting in my own car with the same people that I live with and spend every day with, so there is absolutely no problem, not causing any harm to anyone else," Dan said on Instagram, defending his decision to travel.
The late Star Wars actor took her beloved dog Gary everywhere with her, even posing with him on red carpets at film premieres.
The French bulldog has its own Instagram account, and posts frequently reveal how much the pooch misses his mum, Carrie.
Back in 2019 Gary announced via Instagram that he'd be moving to Florida. “Just wanted to check in and say it has been 2 years and I miss my mom everyday,” read the post. “I tried New York after LA and decided the beach is much better. Hello Florida and the new adventure begins.”
After Carrie passed away from a cardiac arrest in 2016, her former assistant Corby McCoin adopted Gary, and has been looking after him ever since.
Jennifer's new dog was shared with the world via her Instagram page in autumn 2020. He has an elaborate name, Lord Chesterfield, and is from a Los Angeles-based dog rescue service.
Their website describes how they are "committed to preventing cruelty and promoting kindness to animals."
Jen shared an image of her cuddling her pooch on Insta, and captioned the post: "Hi! I’d like to introduce to you the newest member of our family….this is (a very tired) Lord Chesterfield. He stole my heart immediately.
"A HUGE thank you to @wagmorpets for the incredible work you do. Grateful you take such great care of these rescues and find them their forever homes."
Jennifer has two other dogs, a Schnauzer mix called Clyde and Sophie, her white and black pitbull.
Speaking before she adopted Lord Chesterfield, she told People magazine: "I have to be very sensitive to [my dogs] Clyde and Sophie because it’s all about whether they are going to be happy."
Reese also announced the arrival of her new dog last year. In November 2020 she shared an image of the French bulldog on Instagram and wrote: "Introducing Minnie Pearl. Welcome to the family little one."
Reese is a real dog lover, and has two other pooches, a Labrador called Hank and a Bulldog called Lou. She's often pictured walking them around her neighbourhood smiling away with her family.
Miley currently have seven dogs (!), and in February she introduced her latest, a Pitbull called Angel.
Introducing Angel to the world, she also paid tribute to another of her pets, a pit bull mix called Mary Jane which passed away shortly beforehand.
"I am head over heels in love," she wrote. "Not sure I will ever sleep again because I can’t take my eyes off of her! Her halo shines for all to see and I can’t wait to show her off! It’s pretty cool having an Angel on a leash! She is illuminated by the aura of the late and great Mary Jane. Long live love. It never dies."
Orlando has five dogs if Instagram is to be believed, and he's often pictured holding them as he goes about his life in Los Angeles.
One, a gift from his partner Katy Perry called Mighty, tragically went missing last year, and after a seven-day search the actor found his collar on the ground.
"I have wept more this week than I thought possible, which has been very cathartic and healing,” he said when Mighty went missing. “I feel so grateful to have learned from my little Mighty man that love is eternal and the true meaning of devotion.”
A few months later, he was pictured with the newest puppy of the group, a little fluffy white guy called Buddy.
Kylie named her new dog Kevin, of course, in keeping with the Kardashian clan and their love for names beginning with K.
Kevin is a cute Italian greyhound, and became a part of Kylie's life back in February 2021. Kevin was the ninth addition to Kylie's collection of dogs, which have their own air conditioned outhouse in Kylie's back garden.
Little Mix's Leigh-Anne has two American bulldogs, Kyro and Harvey. She shared an image of Kyro online in 2019 and wrote: "Completely and utterly obsessed.. came home from Japan to find this baba waiting for me" - but got into hot water when it was revealed the two had had their ears clipped before she bought them.
After admitting to cropping the ears of the dogs, breeder Simon Davis was given an 18-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work.
Liam and his former flame Miley Cyrus were serious pet lovers. In fact, they reportedly had to reach an agreement about how to split their 15 pets when the couple parted ways.
The latest in Liam's set is Dora, a labradoodle with adorable shaggy hair. (In our picture he's posing with his 2016 rescue dog, Tani.)
Sharing a black and white pic cuddling with Dora, the actor recently said: "Me and my best friend Dora. Good god I love this dog."
Ariana is another celeb with mountains of dogs to play with. At last count, she had nine: Coco, Toulouse, Cinnamon, Strauss, Lafayette, Pignoli, Myron, Snape and Lily.
And a micro pig named Piggy Smallz, just because why not?
She has adopted all of her dogs from dog rescue shelters, and she has even announced the launch of her own animal rescue centre.
