Sepp van den Berg has said he will 'no doubt' speak to Virgil van Dijk to assess his performance following Liverpool's 1-0 win over Shrewsbury in the FA Cu p.
The youngest team in the club's history took to the Anfield stage on Tuesday night as the Reds booked their place in the fifth round.
Speaking after the game, the teenage defender hailed the approachability of Liverpool's senior players and in particular his compatriots Van Dijk and Gini Wijnaldum.
Van den Berg told Dutch daily De Telegraaf: "I noticed that everyone at the club are proud of how we did as young boys.
"I will no doubt speak to Virgil. The mutual interaction between the Dutch boys is great anyway.
"With Ki-Jana Hoever, but also with Georginio Wijnaldum.
"I can always go up to them and with Van Dijk, I am learning from the best defender in the world."
Liverpool will now make the trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Frank Lampard's Chelsea in the next stage of the competition.
