Saturday's winning National Lottery numbers for life-changing £7.9m jackpot

A life-changing sum is up for grabs in tonight's National Lottery Lotto draw on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

A jackpot of £7.9million could be yours if you match all six main numbers.

Five main numbers plus the bonus ball gets you £1million.

Lotto tickets are on sale from most UK newsagents and supermarkets from 8am to 11pm on most days, except when there’s a draw, in which case tickets can be bought up until 7.30pm.

It costs £2 to enter.

Draws take place on Wednesday evenings from 8pm and Saturday evenings from 7.45pm, followed by the Thunderball draw.

The odds of winning the jackpot, by matching all six numbers, are 1 in 45 million.

A £7.9million jackpot could make some of your dreams come true - be it a bigger house, a flashy sportscar or whatever your heart desires.

Here's what you can win

If a ticketholder matches all six main numbers, they win the estimated £7.9million jackpot.

Five main numbers plus the bonus ball gets you £1million.

Matching five main numbers wins £1,750.

Prizes of £140 and £30 are awarded for matching four and three main numbers, respectively.

A free Lucky Dip is won when a ticket matches two main numbers.

Triple rollover draw

Tonight's Lotto draw is a triple rollover.

That means no-one has won the jackpot in the previous three draws.

Lotto can only rollover five times.

The fifth rollover is a must-be-won draw.
